Dr. Doshi began his career in the pharmaceutical sector, gaining valuable experience in applied chemistry and research. Driven by a passion for sustainable development, he completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry specializing in Bioremediation, focusing on cost-effective methods to detoxify heavy metals from contaminated water.

Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Doshi transitioned into academia, where over the past two decades he has held a series of progressive leadership roles. His extensive academic tenure includes positions such as Head of Department, Dean, Campus Director, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Vice Chancellor across institutions in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Doshi has contributed to advancing education, research, and institutional development across multiple roles including departmental leadership, faculty administration, campus management, and university governance. His leadership has been marked by a commitment to fostering academic excellence, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and supporting the growth and modernization of educational institutions. Dr. Doshi’s broad experience spans curriculum enhancement, faculty development, infrastructure expansion, policy formulation, and international partnerships.

• Filing 7 Indian patents and holding 1 international commercial patent (WIPO)

• DST-IHSRF Funded Project: Chemoinformatic modeling and preclinical testing of MMP-2 inhibitors for cardioprotection, combining AI-driven drug discovery with clinical research.
• International Patent (WO2014097319): Eco-friendly, solvent-free extraction method for steviosides from stevia leaves, advancing sustainability in the natural sweetener industry.

Dr. Doshi’s academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, followed by a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry with First Class with Distinction — both from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat. He further pursued and completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the same university.
