In 2015, the media and entertainment sector grew at 12.8% over 2014, while advertising grew at 14.7% with advertising revenues expected to grow at 15.9% to reach Rs.99,400 crore as per KPMG. With no doubt, Media is emerging as a very powerful tool of Social, Economic and Political Change throughout the world. There is hardly any field which is not influenced by media. The exponential growth of television and social media particularly have created enormous professional opportunity for the students in the field of Media and Journalism.

The 3 year Full Time Degree Course is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. The program aims at transforming and nurturing individuals into seasoned professionals. Reporting: The ability to report in depth, using a wide variety of sources to provide context, accuracy, and balance.
Writing: The ability to produce stories that are clear and concise and engage the audience’s attention.

Role and Responsibilities: An understanding of the roles and duties of journalism in society, and recognition of the legal and moral implications of their work.
Synthesis: The ability to speak and write in a sophisticated way about an area of study outside journalism.
Creative Expression: The ability to think critically, creatively and independently and express oneself clearly, both in writing and orally
Research: The ability to carry out journalistic research and interviews and prepare functional content for news media outlets
Informative Decision Making: The ability to meet deadlines and competently use technology appropriate to the medium of communication.
